Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Let’s do a little “practical”.
Pick up your bible, open it to 1 Samuel 17, read about David and Goliath. Imagine David as a young little lad speaking to the giant Goliath.
Paint this picture in your mind; now replace David with your own picture and replace Goliath with your problems (broke, sick, torment, pains, poverty, barrenness, etc.) Now throw the stone and watch your “Goliaths” fall! Lovely movie! Play this “movie” over and over in your mind and watch it manifest in real life.
Once you create a concise image from the word, the next thing is for you to start talking about it day and night, as many times as possible. “Muttering” is speaking under your breath, more like whispering or talking to yourself in a low voice. Keep doing this till it becomes your reality.
Once you start muttering, the words will sink into your spirit and faith will be released. Once this is done, start speaking out loud. This is the stage at which you shout it. Let the whole world know what you believe.
Hear this:
Isaiah 31:4 “For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, [he] will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.”
It will interest you to know that the word “ROARING” here is the same Hebrew word “HAGAR” as used for meditate in our focal scripture.
Here, the bible talks about this roaring lion surrounded by “enemies” referred to here as “SHEPHERDS CALLED AGAINST HIM”.
