This Book of the law-13

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
…From yesterday…
In the journey of 2016, mind what you do with your mouth!
Luke 21:15 “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”
You have a mouth that enemies such as; poverty, lack, disease, failure, frustration, debt and so on cannot resist or gainsay. Enemies can’t argue with your mouth but there is a condition: YOU MUST SPEAK!
Nothing happens unless you speak. Goliath kept speaking words for forty days and the whole of Israel was shivering. But the day a small boy decided to use his mouth, Goliath couldn’t “resist nor gainsay”. He collapsed like a pack of cards!
Friend, what enemy has been terrorising your life and destiny? The problem is not the speaking enemy, the problem has been the silent you! When will you start speaking?
3. MEDITATE THEREIN DAY and NIGHT
Meditation is another crucial factor in the instructions of God to Joshua. I have since discovered as a pastor that many people speak but lacked depth. Meditation is what gives weight to your words.
The end result of meditation is usually revelation. Have you ever wondered the difference between the scripture you just read casually and the way your pastor analyse or preach from that same verse? You listen to your pastor speak on a text and you just open your mouth wondering if it was the same text you’ve known from children Sunday school. The simple difference is meditation.
What then is meditation?
Meditation means to think about deeply; to keep the mind fixed upon something or to study.
