Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

You’ve got to mind your language! If you must speak, speak the word of God only!
Joshua understood and mastered the principles so well that he demonstrated it to great effect. Hear this:
Joshua 10:12 “Then SPAKE Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he SAID in the sight of Israel, Sun, STAND THOU STILL UPON GIBEON; AND THOU, MOON, in the VALLEY of AJALON.”
Joshua 10:13 “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.”
Joshua simply spoke the word to the sun and moon, and they obeyed him. That is awesome!
Beloved, God is saying speak the word to that contrary situation that has been staring you in the face. Tell the enemy, “No more!” Tell that affliction to stop. Tell things to change in your favour. You have the power in your mouth to change the tide!
Jesus spoke to everything and anything! He spoke to his disciples; he spoke to people; he spoke to three fishes and five loaves of bread; he spoke to the fig tree; he spoke to sicknesses and diseases; he spoke to demons; he spoke to the wind and the storm; he spoke to the grave and death! Guess what? They all obeyed him!
In the journey of 2016, mind what you say with your mouth!
Luke 21:15 “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”
