This Book of the Law-7

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
…From yesterday…
God didn’t just say that to Joshua, he is saying it to us as well! What he says to one he says to all.
Mark 13:37 “And what I say to you I say to everybody: Watch (give strict attention, be cautious, active, and alert)!” (MSG)
A close look at the life of Joshua after the encounter he had with God shows that something entered into Joshua and transformed his life radically.
The once fearful Joshua successfully led the children of Israel to the Promised Land, shared it out to the tribes, fought gallantly and conquered kingdoms. He had some mind-blowing testimonies of his own as well, but one that rattled me was what happened in Joshua 10.
Joshua 10:12 “Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.”
Joshua 10:13 “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.”
Joshua 10:14 “And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.”
Moses defied the law of nature by dividing the Red Sea which was one of the things that scared Joshua when he was told to step into Moses’ shoe; but what Joshua himself did here is equally mind-blowing!
