This Book of the Law-2

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
…From yesterday…
God told Joshua, “Look, Moses my servant, the same great prophet you know is dead! Now, you’re next in line to take over and continue from where he stopped. That Promised Land he told you about, you will take this people into it and make sure they all get their portion.
Don’t worry, I was the One with him, working with him; I will equally be with you.
If you recall, Joshua had earlier visited the Promised Land with Caleb on a reconnaissance mission. They had gone to spy the land and returned with good report.
Numbers 14:6 “And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, [which were] of them that searched the land”
Joshua knew all about the land, the good, the bad, the ugly and also the terrible and terrifying! Friend, Joshua and Caleb also saw what the ten spies saw! What did they see?
Numbers 13:26 “They presented themselves before Moses and Aaron and the whole congregation of the People of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole congregation and showed them the fruit of the land.”
Numbers 13:27 “Then they told the story of their trip: “We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit!”
Numbers 13:28 “The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.”(MSG)
The twelve of them saw those giants in the land, the sons of Anak, probably the forefathers of Goliath! Joshua and Caleb were also men of like passions…
