We engage in serious prayers and suddenly things start to happen in our favour.
You are looking for job and then you are invited for an interview in which you performed well, and you are told you will be contacted soon.
You submit a quotation for a job and you are told it is excellent. You bided for a contract and you’re told your presentation is just what they are looking for. Beloved, these are just the “cleansing” stage. What you do at this stage matters so much in the completion or perfection of your miracle!
When these folks discovered they were cleansed, nine of them did what most humans do, even though the bible didn’t state it categorically, I want to believe they proceeded to show themselves to the priest!
They went to do the “levitical cleansing and pronouncement” so that they could be re-absorbed into the community, and so that they could go back to their houses, have the right to attend church, go to the market and attend social gatherings, albeit with the “stigma of being a cleansed leper!”
The nine guys did not understand the power of praise and thanksgiving. They didn’t know that miracles are progressive and can always be perfected by praise!
Back to the man that understood praise. The first thing he did when he discovered he was healed was to first and foremost praise God.
Luke 17:15 “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,”
He glorified God! He didn’t thank God at this point; note the Holy Spirit selection of words carefully. It could have been written he “gave thanks to God” but the bible says “…with a loud voice glorified God,”
