Here is the point, where you are is SOMEBODY’S PRAYER POINT!
You’re complaining of not eating a balanced diet after 3 heavy diets whereas somebody is busy praying to eat once in a day!
Beloved, it is lack of understanding that makes it difficult for folks to thank God. Once you have an understanding your orientation will change!
You must come to terms with what praise is all about and the fact that you must do it where you are now. Hear this:
Malachi 2:2 “If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [it] to heart.”
God was telling these folks that their “praise-less” attitude would attract a curse. These guys were like most people you’ll meet, having one complaint or the other.
They are blessed already but think the blessings are far below their expectations. He said, “…I will curse your blessings…” meaning they are blessed already. How much can you pay for the breath in your nostrils and your ability to read and write?
We said praise is thanking God for where you are at present and that God inhabits our praise and dispels evil.
One thing you must also know is that, apart from the fact that where you are is somebody’s prayer point, your blessings are progressive. They are always in the process of perfection!
Let us consider this scenario:
Luke 17:11 “And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.”
Luke 17:12 “And as he entered into a certain village,there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:”
