The Audit-10

Luke 16:1 “And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.”
Luke 16:2 “So he called him in and said, ‘What’s this I hear about you? You’re fired. And I want a complete audit of your books.'”(MSG)
…From yesterday…
The aim of every audit is self improvement. It will be a waste of time if by December 2016 you’re still where you are, repeating the same mistakes and errors.
Beloved, I want you to have a plan and follow it through. I am so sure the Holy Spirit has started prompting you on the changes to make to further your spiritual growth come 2016, however let us look at one or two things.
I will like you to make plans by looking at your spiritual routines. How much time will you devote to Word study and meditation come 2016? How much time do you want to make out for prayers?
Who and who do you need to make up with? Who do you need to lend a helping hand?
What will be your daily and weekly commitments to the new plan?
How will you ensure that these changes are adhered to? Ask yourself: what is one new practice or habit you would like to institute to help maintain your new resolutions?
I also want you to do something that will really help you, choose and nurture a relationship you can be accountable to. Look for somebody that will encourage you as you walk this journey.
Get your spiritual father or pastor involved; get a mentor; make sure you have somebody that can ask you questions and monitor your progress.
The steward made plans and carried them out and eventually the same Master commended him.
Luke 16:8 “And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely…”
Luke 16:8 “Now here’s a surprise: The master praised the crooked manager!”
Come 2016 December, what will the Master say about you?
Love you BiG
