4. If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world. I’m sure by now you will stop calling yourself the masses or the poor. You’re richer than about 5 billion people! Who says you’re not blessed? Who says you’re not wealthy?
5. Finally, if you can read this piece, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who can neither read nor write!

We take way, way too much for granted. You and I are blessed in ways we may never fully comprehend on this side of eternity.

When was the last time you recounted His several blessings? Most of us are experts in recounting what He has not done. We tend to become depressed and sad because of what we are yet to see, rather than being grateful for the ones we do see.
Life may not be a bed of roses for you at the moment, but it sure has roses! A wise man said:
“Do not look for thorns among the roses. Rather be thankful that among the thorns there are beautiful roses.”
What can you see? The roses or the thorns? God has indeed piled up blessings on us!
