Proverbs 13:20 “He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
Proverbs 13:20 “Walk with wise people and become wise; befriend fools and get in trouble.” (CEB)
Proverbs 13:20 “Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces.” (MSG)
They tell you going corrupt and doing abominable things is what rich people did that gave them wealth!
Beloved, such folks hate what God loves, but keep telling you it doesn’t matter. Well, a wise man knows there is God; does what God loves and hates what God hates!
A wise man knows it is dangerous to have God against you! A wise man pitches his tent on the side of God!
Proverbs 14:9 “Fools make a mock of sin and sin mocks the fools [who are its victims; a sin offering made by them only mocks them, bringing them disappointment and disfavor], but among the upright there is the favor of God” (AMP)
Proverbs 14:9 “A fool will laugh at sin, but among the just grace shall abide.” (DRB)
Proverbs 10:23 “Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible.”(NLT)
The bible says a fool mocks or laughs at sin because he thinks it’s fun! A wise man doesn’t see sin as fun; he runs away from it. That’s a sure way to recognise a fool. Don’t keep company with such men!
Here is another characteristic of a fool:
Proverbs 12:15 “Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.” (NLT)
Proverbs 12:15 “Fools are headstrong and do what they like; wise people take advice.” (MSG)
Fools always think they are right. They assume they know more than everybody; they don’t listen to counsel. They always insist on having their way, even in areas where they have no expertise. Those are dangerous men to have in your inner circle! Solomon says they don’t take advice!
