Life Lessons from Driving-15

Mark 4:35 “And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”
Mark 5:1 “And they came over unto the other side of the sea…”
…From yesterday…
Ephesians 6:14 “Stand firm then, with THE BELT of TRUTH BUCKLED AROUND your WAIST, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,”
Ephesians 6:15 “and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
Those are mechanisms put in place for our safety; make maximum use of them!
Never forget to also check the state of your assignment, dreams and visions too. Know when you’ve reached certain landmarks and what to do next; this is very important.
I also made mention of the fact that you must stay alert!
In driving, apart from being careful, you must watch out for “crazy drivers” as well. To a large extent, you must be able to pre-empt the intention of crazy road users.
I come across such crazy drivers from time to time. Some will want to navigate a turn without “trafficating”; some others will beat the traffic light, make dangerous overtaking, etc. Be alert and watch out for such crazy drivers on your journey in life.
Be wary of such men. Hear this:
1 Chronicles 10:2 “And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.”
1 Chronicles 10:6 “So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.”
1 Chronicles 10:13 “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, [even] against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking [counsel] of [one that had] a familiar spirit, to enquire [of it];”
I love Jonathan, and had he lived, he would have been a precious addition to the team of David, but he made a terrible mistake; he followed Saul his father who was driving dangerously.
To be continued…
