Life Lessons from Driving-14

Mark 4:35 “And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”
Mark 5:1 “And they came over unto the other side of the sea…”
…From yesterday…
Beloved, the reason we refer to going for fellowship as going “to service” is simply because that is where you get “serviced” the same way your mechanic services your car. He checks and changes your car’s engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs and the rest.
Friend, the Holy Spirit does same for you when you attend service. Hear this:
Psalms 92:10 “But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.”
It is not just your car that needs fresh oil, you do too! This is one thing you get from attending a Spirit-filled service. The Bible also says that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost; you don’t abuse God’s temple; you keep it well and neat.
I once heard of a man of God who became sick and couldn’t continue his assignment here on earth; he made a rather appalling statement.
He said, “God gave me a message and a horse to go deliver it; I did not finish delivering the message; I have overworked and overused the horse. I didn’t take good care of the horse; now I still have the message but no vehicle to deliver it”. How sad! Beloved, wisdom is profitable to direct!
Do remember to also wear your seat belt, as well as taking other precautions. See some precautions to take, including wearing our spiritual seat belt:
Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:14 “Stand firm then, with THE BELT of TRUTH BUCKLED AROUND your WAIST, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,”
