Life Lessons from Driving-12

Mark 4:35 “And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”
Mark 5:1 “And they came over unto the other side of the sea…”
…From yesterday…
Proverbs 7:3 “Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.”
The Bible is our comprehensive instructional “traffic rule” and must be obeyed! God said, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth…” I discover it was not a suggestion; it is a command!
You don’t debate commands; your opinions are not needed; your suggestions are uncalled for; what is needed is your OBEDIENCE! Total adherence to instructions!
I noticed something interesting in Proverbs 7:2; God said, “Keep my law as the apple of thine eye.” We are used to asking God to, “Keep us as the apple of His eye…”(Psalms 17:8). But here God said you should do same to His instructions. Instructions keep us from destruction; never forget that.
I love the way it is written in Deuteronomy:
Deuteronomy 11:18 “Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.”
Deuteronomy 11:19 “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
Deuteronomy 11:20 “And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:”
Deuteronomy 11:21 “That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.”
Our Bible is the instruction manual for life. It already contains the instructions needed for the trip; God said in the above verses that we should keep them…To be continued…
