Life Lessons from Driving-4

Mark 4:35 “And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”
Mark 5:1 “And they came over unto the other side of the sea…”
…From yesterday…
Friend, there is a how to life; there is a knowing on the road, if you’re ignorant of this truth you may be heading for destruction. Don’t run into avoidable accidents by driving anyhow on a strange road!
My spiritual father said, “Sometimes a single wrong turn on your life’s journey can make you lose ground, and if care is not taken you may never recover from it.
Let’s look at Moses when he was set to undergo a trip with the children of Israel:
Exodus 33:13 “Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, SHEW ME NOW THY WAY, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people.”
Exodus 33:14 “And he said, My presence shall go [with thee], and I will give thee rest.”
Moses knew that going through an unfamiliar terrain can be dangerous, so the first thing he did was to ask God to show him the road. God also knew the importance of this and didn’t just promise to show him the way, He promised to go with him as well.
God answered Moses’ prayer as seen in Psalms 103:7 “He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.”
Friend, ask God for the road and ask him to also go with you. Quit being smart; you need God every step of the way. Thank God for your expertise, but know that you’re limited without His direction!
Your number one help is God via His Spirit. You can never go wrong with him. In case you’ve been going it all alone, stop for a moment and renew your appointment with the person of the Holy Spirit!
Another helper on your journey of destiny is a spiritual mentor or father.
To be continued…
