Jabez called on God and the course of his life changed. Friend, God is waiting on you to takeover; those situations and circumstance are equally waiting.
You can spend days revising for an exam with your course mates, but when it comes down to the D Day, you’re on your own. During the exams, it’s all down to you, how much you’ve prepared and how you will react to the things that come your way.
The truth is that shifting the blame onto others is avoiding who the real issue is with. Will you learn to drive and handle the steering or you’ll continue allowing others drive you dangerously? The ball is totally in your court!
After learning how to drive, the next most important thing is to know the road. I have heard of accidents occurring on the road because a driver was speeding on a road he was not familiar with. I have entered into some potholes on the road myself because I assumed the road was okay. Not knowing the road makes us run into errors because we don’t know when to speed and when to slow down.
The same goes into real life scenarios. We keep firing the car on all cylinders on a road we are not familiar with. Hear this:
Ecclesiastes 10:15 “The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.”
The reason many people labour without result is simply their lack of knowledge of the road. The bible says such folks end up tiring themselves out before the completion of the journey!
Friend, there is a how to life; there is a knowing on the road, if you’re ignorant of this truth you may be heading for destruction. Don’t run into avoidable accidents by driving anyhow on a strange road!
