1 Kings 1:1 “Now king David was old [and] stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.”
1 Kings 1:5 “Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.”

Beloved, GET UP! You can’t give up now. Adonijah is an illegal entity occupying your throne! There is more to you than that bed. You can be an employer of labour instead of wasting away wallowing in self pity because you have been sacked!
Come on, you’re more than you’re seeing. You’re a world personality. The warrior nature is still within you. Your ability to kill those previous lions and bear are still within you!
God didn’t show you such discouraging visions at the beginning of this year for nothing. Let courage arise in you, my friend.
Hear this:
1 Kings 1:28 “Then king David answered and said, Call me Bathsheba. And she came into the king’s presence, and stood before the king.”
1 Kings 1:29 “And the king sware, and said, [As] the LORD liveth, that hath redeemed my soul out of all distress,”
Indeed the enemy might have been responsible for where you are now, no problem, the truth however is that you can stop him! You have the ability, capability, enablement and capacity to snuff out their party music.
It’s time for “King David” to say something about the situation! I love the way the bible puts it; hear this:
1 Kings 1:28 “Then king David answered and said…”
1 Kings 1:29 “And the king sware, and said…”
1 Kings 1:30 “Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.”
He didn’t pick up clubs, bow and arrow, stones, catapult, spear or sword; he just SAT UP and SPOKE!
