Going far-1

Exodus 8:28 “And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.”
In our focal scripture, Pharaoh told the children of Israel to go and sacrifice to the Lord their God in the wilderness, which was a good thing; but he added a deadly and limiting clause, he said, “Only ye shall not go very far”.
The devil sure knows how to limit people and put a “ceiling on their progress in life”. The devil only wants man to be “successful” within the boundaries he sets. Any attempt to go beyond the boundaries means trouble.
Going very far means going to the extreme. It means to be significantly different in nature or quality, to be opposite in character. It also means to break free from the norm.
You will not have issues in life if you decide to walk by the dictates of the world by remaining “normal” and natural like every other person around.
You will not have problem with people until you decide to go very far. You are permitted to rent house which is normal, but when you decide to build yours, issues come up, envy, jealousy and hatred suddenly arise.
You can finish primary school and even secondary, but university is not necessary. You can use your gift as long as you don’t stand out. Daniel didn’t have problems with people until he decided to go very far with his God! Same went for Shadrach Meshach and Abednego.
People that go very far are people that want to see better things. They are people that are prepared to fight their way to success. They are people like Joshua and Caleb, who are ready to travel for forty years to get to their Canaan! They are the ones who will not give up until they arrive in the Promised Land. These are men driven by purpose and vision.
