Implementing Change-5

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2 “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. YOU’LL BE CHANGED FROM THE INSIDE OUT. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (MSG)
God does not waste resources; that is why He will only give you what you can handle. He will give you only what you have developed a capacity for. Jesus said, “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. (Matthew 4:19).
The principle of Christ is that you will follow him first, and then He will make you. The process of following is when the change occurs. He changes the mindset you’re carrying; he enlarges your capacity then you are made!
The problem is that most people want to be made without following or changing. Friend, that is against the law of change. Hear this:
Mark 2:22 “And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.”
That is how to change! Many folks want something new while the container is old. God is saying that people that try it lose both the new wine and the old bottles. New wine is reserved for new bottles!
Jim Kwik said, “If an egg is broken by outside force, life ends. If broken by inside force, life begins. Great things always begin from inside”! I love that.
The state of your mind, which is caused by your thought pattern, is influenced by the type of information you’re feeding it with.
To be continued…
