The Principle of Change-7
1Samuel 10:6 “And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.”
1Samuel 10:10 “And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.”
1Samuel 10:13 “And when he had made an end of prophesying he came to the high place.”
Mark 1:15 “And saying The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand repent ye and believe the gospel.”
…From yesterday…
Friend, this is one reason the devil will go all out to prevent men from changing! The devil doesn’t want man to change for obvious reasons! He wants man to remain with the nature of death, his very own nature.
Paul also said to the Corinthians in 2Cor. 3:18, “ But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are CHANGED into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The devil knows that change is a key work of the Holy Spirit in our lives; that’s why he keeps the believer from embracing the required change. The devil wants to make sure men doesn’t become different from him.
The other reason the devil doesn’t want men to change is what I saw in the following scriptures:
Isaiah 43:18 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
The devil doesn’t want us to enjoy the new things God is bringing our way. New opportunities, new jobs, breakthroughs, new healthy habits, full restoration of health, landmark achievements, new houses, etc. He knows once we are stuck with the old; God will not bring the new.
To be continued…
