John 2:11 “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”
As we wrap up this meditation on Jesus’ first miracle. I’ll like to talk on what I call seizing the moment and making the most of it. We all have what we call our “moment of triumphant entry”. Hear this:
Luke 19:44 “And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou KNOWEST not the TIME of thy VISITATION.”
Jesus speaking here said these folks would suffer with their children because of ignorance of the time of their visitation. They didn’t know how to seize the moment!
Friend, we all need a platform and the right time to launch our career, dreams, visions and ministries. Our focal scripture says His disciples believed Him. Jesus seized the moment and His ministry started.
God will always give us opportunities and a platform to launch our dreams, careers, etc. The major thing is we must know when that moment arrives and seize it. We must recognize this opportunities and we must be sensitive enough to know when.
David was such a man, he knew when the big stage was presented to him and he grabbed it with both hands. Jesus, a decendant of David did same several years later. You and I are decendants of David and can do it too.
But, remember David had already fought and killed both the lion and the bear, Jesus had fasted and prayed for forty days and defeated the devil before the “big stage” was presented.
God will always offer the big stage to the prepared man; the question is: are you ready? Can you recognise and seize the moment? Do you have what it takes?
You will not miss your time of visitation in Jesus name, amen.
