Little children-16
Mark 10:14 “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].” (AMP)
…From yesterday…
It doesn’t matter what your present situation looks like, go to the realm of imagination and visualise what you want it to be. Maintain that image and in no time it will become a reality!
God Himself said it. Indeed “…nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”(Gen.11:6)
As we draw the curtain on this meditation, I want you to make up your mind to pick up these traits. Agreed, there are things you must outgrow but there are some you must not. Wisdom is knowing the difference between childish and childlike!
It’s so unfortunate that our society was designed such as to get those childlike qualities off us. But the interesting thing is, we were born with them, if God knows we won’t need them why put them there naturally?
Friend, go observe the little kids around you. Watch how they play, how they create and ask questions. Play with them, talk to them and spend quality time with them.
Let your imagination run wild. Imagine what you will like to do if their are no limits, then DO IT!
Hear this:
Mark 10:16 “And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.” (KJV)
Mark 10:15 “Mark this: Unless you accept God’s kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you’ll never get in.”
Mark 10:16 “Then, gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them.” (MSG)
Finally, if you’re too big for God to gather in his arms like a child, you are probably too big to receive His blessings, Selah!
