Little children-14

Mark 10:14 “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].” (AMP)
…From yesterday…
But, I love the way the Message translation puts it:
Ephesians 4:30 “Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted.”
When we operate in unforgiveness, we grieve and break God’s heart and this must stop! Let love not just be a noun; let it become a verb. Love is action; let it show.
Let’s learn to forgive quickly and deeply! It’s a childlike character and we must never let go of it!
5. The last childlike trait I will like to talk about is what I call imagination.
Pablo Picasso said “All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”
A wise man said, “As children, we are naturally imaginative and curious, able to play without a worry in our minds”. I have since discovered that there are no limits to the imagination of a child except what they’ve been exposed to.
I have heard my kids tell me they want to grow up and fly like superman, bend steel like the incredible hulk. They want to fly to space and explore other worlds, etc. I am sure you’ve interviewed kids and you have an understanding of what I am saying.
Perhaps you had those wild dreams and imaginations as a kid too. I did as well but the question I want to ask you is this, “What happened to those things that facinated you as a child”. “Where are those imaginations of yours?”
To be continued…
