Little children-13

Mark 10:14 “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].” (AMP)
…From yesterday…
In extreme cases they take their time waiting for the perfect opportunity to retaliate then freshen your memory on why they have to hurt you that much! To them I apologise means the fight has just began!
As appaling as you would say it is, it happens among believers and even in churches. When you offend such folks, they make it look as if Christ should come and die for you again before they’re appeased, how sad!
So, Paul had to admonish the church, both past and present, he said:
Ephesians 4:32 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (KJV)
Ephesians 4:31 “Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk.”
Ephesians 4:32 “Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.” (MSG)
Paul was literally begging the Ephesian church to imbibe this childlike trait. He must have met some of those folks I described earlier in that church.
In verse 30 of Ephesians 4, Paul said, we “break God’s heart” when we live in bitterness and unforgiveness, he said that is why we should learn to forgive. Hear him:
Ephesians 4:30 “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
But, I love the way the Message translation puts it:
