Little children-10

Mark 10:14 “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].” (AMP)
…From yesterday…
Proverbs 6:6 “You lazy fool, look at an ant. Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two.”(MSG)
The wisest man that ever lived, King Solomon said he was so inquisitive he learnt from ants, and he advised us to do same. Beloved, reactivate that childlike curiosity in your life, please.
3. The third childlike trait I want us to consider is what I call deadly commitment.
As a parent, have you ever noticed a child watching the popular “Tom and Jerry” cartoon or one of their favourite television programmes?
If you have, I don’t think I need to talk much. I notice this trait in my kids and in several other children as well. If kids are watching an interesting programme, they can afford to go hungry and do nothing else throughout the day till they finish the programme.
Nothing else on this planet seems to matter to them but the programme they’re watching. They carry these traits to everything else they do. If you see them playing, they give it their maximum attention. It is very difficult to shift their focus. Their commitment is absolute!
I love the way dictionary defines commitment, it says that commitment is being bound emotionally/intellectually to a course of action or to another person/other persons. It is also described as the trait of sincerity and focused purpose.
Focused purpose! I like that. No wonder Paul said:
