Little children-8
Mark 10:14 “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].” (AMP)
…From yesterday…
If your child or even you when you were young want to know something, what do you do? Can you think back?
If a child wants to know something desperately, what they do is disturb you! They bombard you with questions and each answer leads to more questions and questions till they’re satisfied. If care is not taken, they will nearly run you nuts!
Children use this skill to learn and grow. However, most adults see being inquisitive as a shameful thing! How sad!
When an adult doesn’t know something, the first thing that comes to his mind is, if I ask they will think I am dull. So, he prefers to die in silence rather than learn and grow. If it has to do with knowledge and asking from a younger person, they totally avoid it.
God knows you will one day outgrow your curiosity that’s why He said:
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.” (MSG)
Friend, there are things you can’t figure out on your own, no matter what; try and call on daddy. He sure knows all the answers; that’s why He is called the Omniscient, the all knowing.
Develop your curiosity again. Every great inventor knows that nothing can be invented except you’re curious enough to ask questions. Great men learn by asking.
To be continued…
