I still want Rachel-5

Genesis 29:26 “And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.”
Genesis 29:27 “Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.”
Genesis 29:28 “And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.”
…From yesterday…
Beloved, in what area of your life have you settled for Leah? I have good news for you: Rachel is still a possibility!!
Jacob was a great risk taker; he risked working for another 7 years for Rachel with a possibility of getting another “Leah”. He was ready to take the risk.
Become courageous in the pursuit of your dreams. People may mock you, scorn you or call you names. Your friends might even advise you to accept Leah as your fate, but beloved, step out audaciously and go after your Rachel, she’s still waiting for you to take courage and become fearless!
If you’re bold, bold things will come to you! Every great dreamer is audacious and fearless! Hear this:
Joshua 1:9 “Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. GOD, your God, is with you every step you take.” (MSG)
You can do it!
Another thing to do after a disappointment is to get fired up again! Don’t ever let your passion die down! When all else fail, let your passion remain. Pick yourself up and go for it again. A sage once said that we don’t drown by falling into water, we drown by staying inside. You don’t lose a boxing match when you get knocked down, you lose if you stay down!
Beloved, the best place to get fired up and receive inspiration is from the word. Pick up your bible and listen to God again. Revisit His promises towards you. Know that they cannot fail.
To be continued…
Love you BiG
