Genesis 29:25 “But when Jacob woke up in the morning—it was Leah! “What have you done to me?” Jacob raged at Laban. “I worked seven years for Rachel! Why have you tricked me?” (NLT)

Matthew 13:27 “So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?”
Matthew 13:28 “He said unto them, An enemy hath done this…”
The man Jesus was talking about here had a beautiful dream. He didn’t slack at all but went all out to fulfil his God given dream. He made plans and executed them well. But, one day, he woke up and discovered “Leah” when all he had expected was “Rachel”.
His servants were perplexed but he remained calm. He knew that while they slept the enemy came and planted “Leah” among his “Rachel”.
Friend, be vigilant and sensitive, don’t just have a dream, plan and execute it. Watch it till full maturation!
Don’t go to bed on your dream. The enemy always waits to catch you off guard so that you can wake up to meet Leah after setting out for Rachel.
The devil used Laban against Jacob’s dream. He used Joseph’s elder brothers against the young man’s dream. He wanted to use Peter to prevent Jesus from going to the cross.
He can manipulate people and situations against your own dream too. His tricks are still the same but it’s so unfortunate many still fall for them. Beloved, Beware! Hear this:
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on all the armor that God gives, so you can defend yourself against the devil’s tricks.” (CEV)
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Never you let down your guard. Put on God’s whole armour and learn to always identify the devil’s tricks a long way off!
How do I still get Rachel despite Leah?
