Genesis 29:25 “And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it [was] Leah: and he said to Laban, What [is] this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?”

In the Hebrew, the name Leah means, “to be weary”, “be impatient”, “be grieved”, “be offended”, “to exhaust”! But Rachel means ” ewe”, “pretty female sheep”, “to be bright”, “be beautiful or handsome”, “to be fair”!
I love the way the Holy Spirit arranged certain truths in the Bible to teach us the ways of God and some lessons in life. There are no coincidences, just divine arrangements!
Back to our discussion. Leah represents the unexpected, unwanted, ugly things that we sometimes get in life which result in disappointments.
Rachel on the other hand stands for beauty, bliss, pleasure, satisfaction or the good desires that you prayed, planned and worked for.
The reality however is that disappointment does occur. Disappointment is a practical challenge we face in the realization of our dreams. 
Disappointment is defined as the emotion we feel when a strongly held expectation is not met. Disappointments can have grave consequences if not well managed. Hear this:
Proverbs 13:12 “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.”
Proverbs 13:12 “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around.” (MSG)
Proverbs 13:12 “Not getting what you want  can make you feel sick, but a wish that comes true is a life-giving tree.” (CEV)
Disappointments if not well handled can lead to sickness! King Solomon said so and medical science has confirmed it.
Disappointment can make people dejected, distressed, downcast, sad, perplexed, disillusioned, frustrated and full of regrets.
