Hosea 13:5 “I took care of you during the wilderness hard times, those years when you had nothing.”
Hosea 13:6 “I took care of you, took care of all your needs, gave you everything you needed. You were spoiled. You thought you didn’t need me. You forgot me.” (MSG)

Our focal scripture for today is a very serious issue. It shows the height of ingratitude and arrogance against God. How sad!
May this never be our portion in Jesus name!
Let me share this piece by Julie Ackerman with you, “In his book The Hidden Brain, science writer Shankar Vedantam describes the day he went for a leisurely swim. The water was calm and clear, and he felt strong and proud for covering a long distance so easily. He decided to swim out of the bay and into open water. But when he tried to return he couldn’t make any progress. He had been deceived by the current. The ease of swimming had not been due to his strength but to the movement of the water.”
Friend, when the water current is carrying us, we are always tempted to think we are stronger than we actually are. We become proud and self-confident. Don’t be deceived ever again by the movement of the water! There is God behind the smooth sail. Never you forget that!
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
Remain humble no matter what you achieve. True humility credits God for every success!
