Luke 12:16 “Then he told them this story: “The farm of a certain rich man produced a terrific crop.”
Luke 12:17 “He talked to himself: ‘What can I do? My barn isn’t big enough for this harvest.'”
Luke 12:18 “Then he said, ‘Here’s what I’ll do: I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll gather in all my grain and goods,”
Luke 12:19 “and I’ll say to myself, Self, you’ve done well! You’ve got it made and can now retire. Take it easy and have the time of your life!'”
Luke 12:20 “Just then God showed up and said, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. And your barnful of goods–who gets it?’ (MSG)
…From yesterday…
Beloved, there is no self made man anywhere! That’s a deception from hell! Don’t be caught in that web. We only have God made or devil made men! But remember, “the blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22)
Congratulations on making it to the second half of the year 2015. Congratulations on all those achievements of yours; but then remember there is a God working behind the scene making things go well.
Give yourself a Reality Check by making conscious effort to thank Him always. He alone deserves all our praise and adoration. Doing this type of check from time to time will help you maintain a level head and a humble heart.
What you have seen is nothing compared to what God can do and where He can take you if you’ll only acknowledge Him. He is not asking for much, just an acknowledgement through praise will suffice.
As we round up, let me share this scripture with you, it always help me and I’m sure it will help you do a Reality Check as well;
Hosea 13:5 “I took care of you during the wilderness hard times, those years when you had nothing.”
Hosea 13:6 “I took care of you, took care of all your needs, gave you everything you needed. You were spoiled. You thought you didn’t need me. You forgot me.” (MSG)
