No Compensation-12
Luke 15:29 “The son said, ‘Look how many years I’ve stayed here serving you, never giving you one moment of grief, but have you ever thrown a party for me and my friends?” (MSG)
…From yesterday…
God was watching Haman and the way he was going about his plot with keen interest. He however kept silent waiting for Mordecai and his folks to “call Home” inviting Him to Judge and reward every man accordingly.
Beloved, rather than getting unnecessarily apprehensive about that plot against you and fighting with the arms of the flesh, call Home!
God is indeed a humorous God. He has interesting ways of handling your enemies. I love His sense of humour. You remember Pharaoh at a time was fuming and destroying the Jews. The particular one he was looking for was Moses.
God just decided to go humorous; He brought the same Moses Pharaoh wanted to kill right into his palace, and the foolish King used his hard earned resources to train the same Moses! (It’s a story for another day)
This time around, God went directly to the King’s dream! Oh, what needless pain we bear by trying hard to fight our battles. God can get to anybody, anytime, anywhere and anyhow. He knows His way around the problems we face and will sure help, if only we’ll hands off and let Him.
He took away the King’s dream and made him request for the book of the chronicles, the book of remembrance. The king did and the first page they opened to was where the name of Mordecai the hero, but unrewarded was recorded! Immediately, the king got the interpretation of his own dream. He knew why God took his sleep away from him!
He went into action immediately and decided to honour God by giving Mordecai what himself and his kingdom owed him for long.
Here is the interesting part: he needed an adviser to recommend the reward befitting Mordecai. He asked for which of his advisers was around; lo and behold, it was Haman! Wao!
