Genesis 37:5 “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.”
Genesis 37:11 “And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.”

Genesis 37:19 “And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.”
Genesis 37:20 “Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.”
This is a serious issue! His brethren because of envy and hatred decided to kill him for just one reason, “…and we shall see what will become of his dreams.”
They wanted to truncate and terminate his dream, oh how terrible the devil can be, especially when he succeeds in using your brethren against you. But, God the giver of divine dreams and visions sure knows how to bail out His own.
Two classes of people you will meet on the way to achieving your dreams; those that will support you and those that will oppose you.
Unfortunately, the opposition is always more than the supporters.
Genesis 37:11 “And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.”
His brethren were against him (ten of them) but his father was for him (only one). The pattern has not changed, once you announce your dream, plot to stop you starts!
The opposition however, will help test your resolve and the genuineness of your dream. They will shake it to it’s very core!
Your ability to overcome this challenge goes a long way in determining if your dream will fly or be grounded for life.
The question is, why the opposition in the first place? The truth is, whatever God is interested in, the devil is interested in as well. The devil don’t have ideas, he always perverts what God has setup.
So, once God sets the ball rolling, he comes with all manner of barriers to halt your motion.
