Judging quickly-2
2Samuel 12:5 “And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:”
2Samuel 12:6 “And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity”
2Samuel 12:7 “And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;”

Some folks are so quick in judging and condemning others that you wonder if they were waiting for their brother to go into error. However, if positions were reversed they know how to defend themselves vehemently.
I read an interesting caption recently which says, “We are good judges for the mistakes of others, but very good lawyers for our own mistakes.”
Once it involves somebody else, we are wonderful judges, telling everybody that cares to listen how wrong the person was and how he should go ask God for forgiveness. Some even offer bible passages that condemns such acts. But, if the mistake is from us, we become lawyers, Harvard trained ones and defend ourselves with everything we’ve got.
I have discovered that a simple “I am sorry” can solve so many problems and resolve issues which have dragged for long. Issues that sometimes ended in very messy quarrels could have easily been resolved if we handled them like matured believers.
Beloved, rather than being experts at condemning people, we should learn to apologise quickly when we are wrong. It is a godly virtue.
We must learn to bury our pride and come down from the puffed up position we place ourselves. When you hear people offering all manner of explanations when issues come up, it speaks volumes about their ego. My Friend, watch your conduct! Submit to His will!
