Yes you can-2
2 Samuel 5:6 “David and his men immediately set out for Jerusalem to take on the Jebusites, who lived in that country. But they said, “You might as well go home! Even the blind and the lame could keep you out. You can’t get in here!” They had convinced themselves that David couldn’t break through.”
2 Samuel 5:7 “But David went right ahead and captured the fortress of Zion, known ever since as the City of David.”(MSG)
…From yesterday…Joshua conquered Jerusalem but his descendants allowed the Jebusites to regain it and since then, they have occupied it. David knew how it was conquered and he used the same strategy:
Psalms 44:1 “We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, [what] work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.”
Psalms 44:2 “[How] thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; [how] thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.”
Psalms 44:3 “For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.”
Psalms 44:5 “Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.”
They told David it was impossible for him to break through but he did it. He knew what was written about that town!

When you’re about to set out to do the impossible, several voices will emerge. Some will “genuinely discourage you out of concern” but others out of envy. Different voices will be flying
