Solution Provider

Genesis 41: 55 “And when all the land of Egypt was famished the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do”
Genesis 41:57 “And all countries (WHOLE WORLD) came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.”
The bible is loaded with principles to live by and it is just inexhaustible. Let’s pick some lessons from this passage.
The first thing that baffled me here was that Pharaoh was the king of Egypt but he referred the people who were hungry to a slave boy. A boy he elevated and made a prime minister. A boy he could order around and even “sack’, but then he referred the whole world to him!
The gist is this; it is not by title or position, the person with the solution rules! The solution provider will always be in-charge!
If you look all around you, one thing you will see everywhere is famine. By famine I don’t mean scarcity of food. One of the dictionary meanings of famine is deficiency of something or a severe shortage of something. I’m sure you know that something is an unspecified or unidentified object.
The truth is there will always be famine in the world. Famine of goods and services, such as; food crops, cars, software, lecturers, doctors, mechanics, pilots, poets, artisans, cooks, salesmen etc.
These “famine” needs men and women who will be solution providers. Men and women who the “Pharaohs” of this world need to direct people to.
The question is which problems do you have solutions to? The solutions you carry determines who comes after you. Can Pharaoh refer people to you?
As you step out this week the whole world will sort for your audience, It doesn’t matter who Pharaoh is, my God will make you the Joseph in Jesus name, Amen.
You will be remembered for two things, the problems you solve or the ones you create!
