Beloved, are you wondering why certain things you’ve been believing God for are yet to materialise? Wondering why God has not committed some assignments into your hands? Well, the answer is not far fetched. Go get yourself some training!
I have seen great men and women mess up certain aspects of their assignments and these were traceable to what they dodged in training!
If you see an arrogant leader who listens to nobody, you know he dodged developing good human relations and humility during training!
If you see one that lies and manipulates people, he didn’t do well at the training on leadership and being honest. Whatever you dodge during training will eventually catch up with you!
What you did at the place of training will eventually show up when “Goliath” appear!
I remember once sharing a piece from my favourite speech of year 2014. It was a speech given by NAVAL Admiral William H. McRaven, while talking to 8000 graduating students from the University of Texas.
This was my favourite speech of the year 2014, not because the speech clocked up over 1.7 million views on Youtube in just two weeks, but for it’s rich content!
Permit me to share another portion of the speech with you, as we round up this piece on training for reigning. Hear him:
“Every day during training you were challenged with multiple physical events; long runs, long swims, obstacle courses, hours of callisthenics, something designed to test your mettle.
Every event had standard-times you had to meet. If you failed to meet those standards your name was posted on a list and at the end of the day those on the list were invited to — a “circus.”
