Training for reigning-4
Psalms 144:1 “Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:” (KJV)
Psalms 144:1 “Blessed be GOD, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well.” (MSG)
Every day the Ninja warriors return to the field. The seeds turn into buds, and the warriors jump over them. The buds turn into small plants, and the warriors jump over them.
They do not become bored. They do not feel it is a waste of time. The wheat grows, and the jumps become higher and higher. In this way, when the plant is ripe, the Ninja warriors still manage to jump over it. Why?
As a result of their jumping over what many may have seen as insignificant, it has allowed them to be keenly aware of their obstacles.
Here is the interesting part, the other Ninjas that failed to jump but rather avoid the obstacles when they were small could not jump over them when they grew big!
By conquering small obstacles you grow the technique required to overcome big obstacles!
The issue is this, you will come across challenging situations in life. These situations will either expose your lapses from dodging training or bow before the expertise you acquired during training. Hear this:
Luke 6:48 “He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
Luke 6:49 “But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
The training period is the time of digging deep. Digging deep is hard work…To be continued…
