Training for reigning-3

Psalms 144:1 “Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:” (KJV)
Psalms 144:1 “Blessed be GOD, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well.” (MSG)
A mentor of mine said, God want us on earth so badly, He provided healing, supplies, protection etc. Friend, the death of a saint is costly to God! In case you’re tired of planet earth, change your mind, you still got job to do here!
Back to our discussion on training, because the death of a saint is precious, God will never send an untrained soldier into battle.
Many people shout, pray, fast and beg God to use them but God seems quiet, you know why? God knows their attitude towards training and He’s not ready to gamble with their lives!
Training is a difficult thing, every giant and men of great exploits will tell you it was never easy on the way to the top. The only thing that is easy is coming down, going to the top involves climbing.
Getting to the top cost great men their time, discipline, dedication, fasting, prayers and several self denial stuff before they got to the height you and I are envying today!
Permit me to share this story with you as told by Paulo Coelho. It’s a story about the training of Ninja warriors. Here it goes:
The Ninja warriors go to the field where some wheat has just been planted. Their mission as commanded by their trainer is to jump over the places where the seeds were sown. Obviously the seeds have just been planted and their is nothing visible! But a command is a command, jump over the plantation!
Every day the Ninja warriors return to the field. The seeds turn into buds, and the warriors jump over them. The buds turn into small plants, and the warriors jump over them.
They do not become bored. They do not feel it is a waste of time. The wheat grows, and the jumps become higher and higher…
To be continued…
