Training for reigning-2

Psalms 144:1 “Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:” (KJV)
Psalms 144:1 “Blessed be GOD, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well.” (MSG)
…From yesterday…Eventually in that film, those soldiers went for a real war, won and came back alive by avoiding the mistakes they made in the simulation fight.
In the same vein, God trains his men before sending them out.
You are too important to God to be sent out without proper training. God doesn’t want his soldiers injured, talkless of killed in the battle field of life. The one that needed to die, Jesus Christ of Nazareth has done that, He doesn’t want any more deaths! Hear this:
Psalms 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.”
This is a scripture that is normally read at funerals. I remember somebody consoling me with it after the demise of my dad.
Well, it’s ok, but in the Hebrew, the word Precious is the same word translated “costly”. The death of a saint is very costly, heaven paid so much price on you and I. It cost heaven the blood of Jesus to rescue us and as such will do everything in their power to keep us here. Hear this:
John 17:15 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”
That was Jesus’ prayer! He prayed to God not to take us out of the world but for God to keep us here but protect us from evil! God want us here on earth, to reign over the kingdom of darkness, to depopulate hell and populate heaven! So, you planning hard to leave this planet now is not Jesus’ idea!
A mentor of mine said, God want us on earth so badly, He provided healing, supplies, protection etc. Friend, the death of a saint is costly to God! In case you’re tired of planet earth, change your mind, you still got job to do here!
To be continued…
