On the High Place-2

1 Kings 3:3,4 “And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places..for that was the great high place..”
Solomon made sacrifices which even David did not make. He went a step farther than his dad, Beloved, do same, don’t let it stop with you! Make sacrifices that will get others there. When last did you tell somebody about Christ?
I must also warn that you should never abuse the high place. Don’t let the devil derail you. Hear this:
2 Chronicles 28:25 “And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.”
Ahaz abused the high place. He started sacrificing to other gods. He got to the high place and forgot the only true God, how sad. That is the life style of several, they got there and go after strange gods; of money, position, idolatry, immorality etc, the position blindfolds them. Beware!
Isaiah 56:7 “Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
Another thing God expects from us at the high place is prayer. But, know that prayer in not what you do when you need something from God which is what most people think. Prayer is a communication tool with heaven. It a what we use to strenthen our relationship with the Father.
Prayer is not give me this and give me that, it is more about fellowship! The Owner of the high place craves to fellowship with us more.
When you get there let your relationship with God become closer and stronger through prayers! He brought you high to make you stay high.
Friend, maintain the high standards of the high place, stay tuned to Him and don’t ever forget that.
Love you BiG
