Habakkuk 3:19 “The LORD God [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ [feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
Habakkuk 3:19 “The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights…”(NLT)
Not all animals have the type of feet a hind or deer has. There are some animals with other designs, if they attempt to ride upon the high places, they’ll fall. It takes a specific design to do that.
To ride high, you must first be ready to be transformed into a man that can ride and stay upon the high place. It is at the process of transformation that most people fail. If you fail the transformation and remodeling test, you’ll remain on the ground!
Why most people fail at this stage is because the transformation process is not easy. It takes a lot of discipline and reorientation. It requires a complete change of mind and attitude.
The Hind is a red female deer whose feet according to science is always very tender at birth. But before it can climb, it has to develop it’s tender feet into hard hooves suitable for climbing. So how does it achieve this?
The Hind develops it’s tender foot into hard hooves by making conscious efforts to walk upon hard places on the ground. By doing this the tender feet start developing the toughness it requires for the high places. The tender feet becomes hard hooves when the Hind develops the ability to overcome difficult challenges successfully!
When the hooves becomes hard, the Hind is able to move quickly and easily across the rocks of a mountain leaping from one rock to another without losing its footing!
A Hind may be born at the valley but once the hooves are developed, it naturally climb and start living at the mountain top!
To be continued…
