Habakkuk 3:19 “The LORD God [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ [feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
I love to pray this prayer, “Lord make me to ride upon my high places.” It’s a serious prayer and I know you love to pray it too. The Lord will definitely cause us to go higher and ride upon our high places in life in Jesus name, Amen.
I was meditating on this scripture recently, and the Lord opened my eyes to see something I had never seen before, it was as if a veil was removed from my eyes. I was asking God why many people are not riding upon the high places. I asked why it is just a microscopic few that operate at the highest level of their gifts and potential.
The Lord simply asked me to read that scripture again and again till I got the message!
Friend, God want everybody to ride upon their high places but not everybody can or will. This will not be possible because riding upon the high places requires a particular design!!
That is where the problem is. There is a design for the top. There is what to become to ride upon the high places. These had been the problem God have with many believers.
In our focal scripture, the word strength is the Hebrew word translated “efficiency”, “wealth”, “ability and design”. While the word make is the Hebrew word translated “transform into”, “constitute”, “fashion”, “work”, “bring to pass”.
We can rewrite the text as, “the Lord will give me the ability, make me efficient, transform me into or redesign me into a person that can climb and stay in the high places!”
Very interesting! The main gist is this, before you can ride upon the high places, God must transform you into a person for the high place.
Not all animals have the type of feet a hind or deer has. There are some animals with other designs…To be continued
