Zechariah 11:13 “GOD told me, “Throw it in the poor box.” This stingy wage was all they thought of me and my work!…” (MSG)
…From yesterday…Friend, I employ you to get your value system right. Put correct value on wisdom and acquiring it rather than chasing after the wrong stuff.
Let’s look at this scripture:
Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.”
God says, He gives us the power to get wealth, not that He give us wealth! The power behind getting the wealth is superior and of more value than the wealth!
It is not the wealth, it is the power to get it that matters. Once you have the power to get it, you can always produce and reproduce it at will.
God didn’t say the wealth is not good but He wants you to come for Him, The INTANGIBLE and the wealth which is tangible will naturally run after you.
Another thing we’ve been giving the wrong value is our relationship with people. Man has a very poor value system when it comes to handling relationships.
I have seen well respected people mess up valuable relationships because of ego and character issues. It is only when they have lost such relationships that they start wondering what hit them.
I watched the political situation in Nigeria with keen interest over the past 18 months and I learnt so many things about valuing people.
A particular party kept losing members one by one due to little differences that can easily be resolved but they seem to care less. I watched these folks trickle away…To be continued
