History repeating itself-2

1 Corinthians 10:11 “These are all warning markers–DANGER!–in our history books, written down so that we don’t repeat their mistakes…” (MSG)
Ecclesiastes 1:9 “History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.” (NLT)
King Solomon shows us a classic example of history repeating itself, the sun rising and setting, the movement of the wind. This history is as old as the world and it keeps repeating itself everyday. In the same vein, several other examples can be seen.
Example 1:
Genesis 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
Here, God Almighty was confronted with a pathetic situation. He had it all worked out but all of a sudden, His work was smeared by the devil, darkness enveloped His wonderful creation. His world became formless and void!
Friend, it happened to God, the creator and it still repeats itself in our lives from time to time. We are often confronted with situations that throws us off balance. Sometimes we think we had it all perfectly worked out but all of a sudden, confusion sets in. Everything becomes formless and void.
The well worked out plan sudden becomes a mess. Panic and sometimes depression sets in. We start wondering where God is. I know you’ve been there and you understand what I’m talking about. It is however not new. It is just history repeating itself!
Beloved, relax incase you’re confronted with such. God didn’t cry, fret, neither did He allow confusion and depression take hold of Him.
God however did two major things:
1. Genesis 1:2 “…And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
2. Genesis 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
God moved by His Spirit over the problem and then He spoke!
To be continued…
