Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
I asked myself some questions daily, based on this scripture and I think you need to do that too, “If I am ordained and endorsed to speak to nations, how should I dress? How should I prepare? What should I know? How should I think?”
Those questions will go a long way in determining your self-image. They will guide the way you look at “You”.
As we round up this piece let me show you Jeremiah’s response after God spoke to him in Jer.1:5. Hear him:
Jeremiah 1:6 “Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I [am] a child.”
Our brother Jeremiah shouted back at God, he said “Ah”. The word “Ah” is an interjection used to express wonder, awe and confusion as the case may be. Beloved, when you don’t understand who God has made you and the assignment he packaged you for, you will keep denying yourself what rightfully belongs to you!
2 Corinthians 5:20 “…we are ambassadors for Christ…”
You’re God’s representative here on earth. You should not allow anybody, situation or circumstance to treat you any less. You must accept your responsibility as an ambassador of heaven and live your life as such.
2 Corinthians 5:21 also says, “For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Never again let any man call you worthless and useless. As a believer we are the righteousness of God. Christ has redeemed us, that is our value and self-worth!
Look into the word of God and locate more of the values God has placed on you, and carry yourself as such.
You deserve the best. As a representative of heaven, never accept anything less!! Selah!
