Judges 6:14 “And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
Judges 6:15 “And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family [is] poor in Manasseh, and I [am] the least in my father’s house.”
Gideon was a great man by design. He was a general who was to be commanding troops, defending the land and the people. But, his orientation was battered and a war general was busy threshing wheat. How sad!
Does that look like your story? God said by design He has loaded you with enough stuff to be an employer of labour but here you are hopping from job-to-job, with some people putting their own price tags on your destiny! I have come today, to let you know you are more than that!
It is not you, that should be hawked from shop to shop like a piece of common commodity. Beloved, the value of any item is the price that is attached to it and I am glad to let you know that the price tag on you is JESUS!!
My God don’t make worthless things! He can’t “pay Christ on you” and you’re busy telling Him, “…my family [is] poor in Manasseh, and I [am] the least in my father’s house.” That is an embarrassment to our Father!
Well, perhaps you’re saying you are not Gideon and you don’t talk like that, but, I know how you say your own.
“I’m such a loser! I’m a fat, stupid, ugly, unlovable, it is not for people like us, we are the masses. I can’t do anything right. I’m no good to anybody. I’m just plain worthless!” That sound more like you isn’t it?
Newsflash! Stop embarrassing God! You’re not “the masses”. You’re not common, you’re rear, you’re precious.
Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
