Philippians 1:28 “…not flinching or dodging in the slightest before the opposition. Your courage and unity will show them what they’re up against: defeat for them, victory for you–and both because of God.” (MSG)
.., From yesterday…Each time the “giants” intimidate you, relax and show them the One that is behind you.
As we round up this piece, let me show you another man from our lineage, who was intimidated and let’s see how he handled it.
2 Kings 6:13 “And he said, Go and spy where he [is], that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, [he is] in Dothan.”
2 Kings 6:14 “Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.”
2 Kings 6:16 “And he answered, Fear not: for they that [be] with us [are] more than they that [be] with them.”
2 Kings 6:17 “And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
Elisha was another man from our linage who we can learn from. Some people came to intimidate him but he was unperturbed, his servant felt intimidated but he showed him a reason why he should not.
Beloved, I am rounding up this piece by giving you the same reason, so relax. They that be with you will always be more than they that be with them! You’re never alone!
