Intimidation-2

Philippians 1:28 “Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies…” (NLT)
Philippians 1:28 “…not flinching or dodging in the slightest before the opposition. Your courage and unity will show them what they’re up against: defeat for them, victory for you–and both because of God.” (MSG)
…From yesterday…The lions watched from a short distance in total disbelief and fear as the hunters cut the meat but none made a move. Right before their eyes, the hunters successfully stole dinner and had some to spare.
Interesting episode! Yes, those guys had nerves of steel but more importantly they knew the power of intimidation! In the full documentary the hunters were later seen chatting around a fire while eating meat, probably the same meat,
They bragged about how courageous they are for stealing from a pride of lions and how some people can be complete cowards. They take great pride in knowing they can intimidate stronger opponents and outwit them to feed themselves.
Hmmmm…After watching the documentary, I had a better understanding of the word courage and intimidation.
Dictionary defines intimidation as the act of making timid or fearful or of deterring by threats. It also means to scare or frighten. It is actually an unlawful act of intentionally coercing or frightening someone to do (or to not do) something against his or her will, such as forcing someone to give money by threat of violence.
Our focal scripture was very authoritative, it says, “Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies.” It is not a suggestion or an advice, it is a command! Don’t even think about getting intimidated, it is not an option for you to consider.
Friend, what has the enemy been using intimidation to steal from you? Is it Your health, prosperity, success or career?
To be continued…
