Instruction-4

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 1:8 “My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:”
Proverbs 1:9 “For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.”
…From yesterday…He already envisioned what the man of God should do and how he is to do it. He seems to know the prophet’s job more than the prophet. God’s divine instructions are not to be contested or debated. Our minds are too small to explain and analyse them. Thank God for Naaman’s servants:
2 Kings 5:13 “And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?”
Proverbs 1:7 says, the only people that don’t listen to instructions are called fools! Naaman could have remained a fool all his life but he chose to humble himself and obey, I am of the opinion that he probably had a beautiful swimming pool at home. In fact he said there were better rivers in his home town:
2 Kings 5:12 “[Are] not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.”
Humility is one virtue you must possess if you must obey instructions. Thank God for your swimming pool and jacuzzi but the instruction says go wash in River Jordan not once, twice or thrice but seven times! Learn to just obey simple instructions.  Don’t complicate things!
Talking about simplicity, the bible talks about the simplicity that is in Christ, and since Christ is the word, it means the simplicity in the word. Hear this:
