The Big picture-1

Ruth 1:8 “And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.”
Ruth 1:14 “And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.”
Ruth 1:15 “And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.”
Let me share this story with you: One day a man went to a construction site to conduct an interview. His aim was to talk to the construction workers about their job, he was amazed by the answers he got.
The first set of guys he met on the site were welders, both working hard on the job. He approached the first one and asked, “What are you doing” the first welder said,”Can’t you see that I’m joining some pieces of metals together?” He greeted him politely and moved on to the second man.
He asked him the same question, “What are you doing”. He answered, “I am building one of the biggest and most beautiful houses in town!”
Isn’t this true to life? The two welders were doing the same job but both have different pictures. The first one has the picture of irons coming together while the second man have the picture of a BIG house!

Not being a big picture thinker has limited several people in life. Some people are stuck in a particular place because they couldn’t see a better life else where.
Jesus told Peter and his brother Andrew, “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19. Jesus placed a bigger picture before them and they saw it…To be continued
